The OEM oil filters have long been out of production, the Emgo replacements have a tendency to leak, and filter prices aren't getting any cheaper. On occasion you can locate a factory oil filter adapter kit.I decided long ago to come up with my own system. It makes for 10 minute oil changes too! It uses an industrial stainless steel 25 micron filter.Flowezy part # Y2-SS-1/4-25-F3 [flowezyfilters.com] Jim
Care to share details on this??? It looks awesome!
ReplyDeleteThe base plate is 3/8" aluminum.Use the original casting for bolt hole and oil port locations. 1/4"npt nipple with a street L,the filter and a NAPA hose.I have the filter info, just not handy at this second. email me at jimjp@cox.net for better pictures and details. Jim
ReplyDeleteCould I see a few more pictures of the set up? How does it perform? My old stock setup up leaks like a sieve and i think this might just be the fix. Email me at Jake ohse at g mail if you could, it would help me out a lot.
